Concentration, skin type and how you apply it decide how long a scent lasts. You can change all three.

The difference between an eau de toilette and an extrait is the share of perfume oil; it ranges from 8% to 30% and makes a difference of hours.

Dry skin lets go of a scent faster. Applying it to moisturised skin, on pulse points and without rubbing, noticeably extends how long it lasts.
